GOVERNMENT MUST BE FAIR TO PRIVATE SCHOOLS OVER PPE DISTRIBUTION || SAM BOACHIE SENIOR HIGH
As part of the government initiative to ensure that as Ghana eases restrictions on schools, proper procedures and structures are in place in order not to increase the spread of coronavirus (Covid19) in our various schools. The government assured that it will provide PPEs and other materials for the various institutions nationwide as the final year students’ return to campus to prepare for their final exams.
As part of Fast TV’s social responsibility to the people of Obuasi and Adansiman, the Television Station dispatched its reporters to the various SHS Institutions in the municipality to engage both authorities and students whether they have received the package from the government through Ghana Education Service.
Speaking on Akoko Abon Morning Show on Fast TV, Mr. Sam Boachie, the headmaster of Sam Boachie Senior High School said indeed, they have received Nose Masks, Veronica Buckets, Hand Sanitizers, Thermometer Guns and many other items.
Mr. Sam Boachie expressed his concern about how the
government has seen unfair on some of its dealings with the private schools
and calls on the government to see the private schools as part of the
stakeholders working so hard to improve the educational sector in the country.
